One week down! WOOT!
Here we go. You guys are getting the no-holds barred truth from me on this … you ready?
I’ll admit – I was a bit worried about completing the Ultimate Reset on Day 1. I had a mild headache and just felt yucky. Now, I can’t say whether it was all from the change of diet to the Reset or not. But at the end of Day 1, I didn’t even want to eat dinner – I just wanted to go home and go to bed.
Thankfully, things got better! The food has been awesome on the Reset. (See more photos on my FB page.) I’m not hungry at all, even though I’m only eating 3x a day and no snacks. I’m sleeping better and my skin has cleared up some. Most importantly: I don’t feel the “I want to stab someone” irritability I sometimes get. (Hey, I can’t be Rosie Sunshine ALL the time!) Or the anxiety from worrying! (Super bonuses during deployment, as you can imagine!)
All in all, I think this will be a success! I love that there’s some flexibility with the meals – I’m not a big fan of miso soup – and I can adjust to my tastes. Picky eaters would have some troubles, though.
On to week 2!!
